Our Background

Expressed Luv has been serving the lactation needs of the Monterey Bay Area since 2005. Starting off in a small office overlooking the bay, Expressed Luv was established with the goal of "helping mother's express their love" to their newborns through the gift of lactation. Whether it be breastfeeding, pumping or hand expressing, Expressed Luv is here to help make this goal a reality.

In 2007 Expressed Luv relocated to Marina, CA, and expanded their operation to offer lactation consultation services, a full retail boutique in addition to the existing hospital grade breast pump rental business.

Who We Are

Board Certified Lactation Consultant - Board certification is an important aspect of ensuring proper counseling and guidance. Robin completed over 2500 hours of training prior to sitting for the formal examination administered by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners in order to obtain certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She is currently the Dominican Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit lactation consultant.

High Risk Neonatal Nursing - For the past 15 years Robin has been working in Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurseries such as Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, CA and Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL.

Educational Background - Robin graduated from the University of Michigan School of Nursing with a BSN. While serving as a US Navy Nurse she obtained her licensure as a Registerd Nurse through the State of California. She also holds a certificate in high risk nenonatal nursing (RNC-NIC).

Personal Experience - As the mother of six sons, Robin has experienced the joys, as well as trials, of breastfeeding. Every nursing experience was unique, some effortless, while others proved to be more challenging, though each was a blessing.
